My blog is inspired by juggling all of my roles in life and sharing my thoughts. Occasionally I'll share some poetry that find inspirational for I am an aspiring writer and always look forward to meeting other writers. Currently I am working on Children's stories.

When you grow up
Do you know what you want to be when you grow up? How long did it take you to decide on a major? I'm still trying to figure out my path. Up to a few months ago, I realized that I like to write or have something to do with books. Since I was little I've always had a passion for reading. Though, I always excelled in my previous employments, books are my passion. I wrote my first children's story and my daughter loves it. She enjoyed it so much that she "wrote" her own book. I've asked my daughter what she wants to be when she gets bigger. She says she wants to help animals, cook wonderful food, and build houses. What I can do is encourage her in her dreams and show her the right path to take. Some might find it right away, while some take months to even years to discover what they are meant for. Don't be afraid to try different things. It's a part of life. There is no unspoken rule that after high school you need to know what your major will be. All I can say is that whatever you decide, try your best. Its better to have tried than not tried at all.
